Favourite part of her job:
I have always felt connected to things of the past, old homes, old movies, and well, old boats. The history and the artful craftsmanship of classics has always called me toward them. That being said I also love racing them and I think what makes it all for me is being apart of really well working race crews, that thoroughly work together to simply make the boat go faster. It's a team job.
Advice for the next generation
Do what you feel comfortable doing. If you want to be on deck, be on deck. If you are happy down below, be down below. If you live to be offshore be offshore. If you only feel comfortable sailing coastal, sail coastal. Find a boat in the industry that fits you. Don't give up too much just for the job.
