With 25 years behind us we have seen a lot of change in the industry, however gender inclusiveness unfortunately has seemed to be the slowest of them all. Being in contact with our customers and suppliers around the world 24/7 gives us a huge opportunity to be involved in this incredible movement and do our bit towards a more diverse and inclusive industry. We want to use our connections and platforms to set that example, to influence the change, to make people in this industry see that no door is ever closed because of your gender or even nationality/background.
Who are they?
Global Services have been supporting and supplying the marine industry since 1995 and are now recognised as a leading source for the marine industry Worldwide. Our goal has always been to make life simple for our customers. To do this, we have a team of 40 positive and proactive individuals, many who have experience as a crew member or in the industry.

Lydia started at Global in 2016 and has recently relocated to Antibes, France, to begin her new position as our International Representative. Lyd will be regularly visiting all the major ports you visit along the French & Italian coastline, as well as attending the prestigious shows and events with the Global team - so be sure to see her out and about! Outside of work Lyd is currently training for her first ever Marathon, Dublin 2019!
