Who are they?
The International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI) is a worldwide membership of maritime institutions who provide training and education across the maritime sectors.
IAMI represents its members with education development and improving learning and professional development by facilitating regular discussions between its member Education Intuitions, Employer groups and Government Regulators.
IAMI also provides examinations and certification for the Deep Sea and Super Yacht sectors for the navigation, technical and hospitality departments.
IAMI’s ethos is to represent and support all seafarers with their professional education and occupational welfare, which includes promoting workplace diversity & cultural inclusivity throughout all maritime sectors.

Lydia started at Global in 2016 and has recently relocated to Antibes, France, to begin her new position as our International Representative. Lyd will be regularly visiting all the major ports you visit along the French & Italian coastline, as well as attending the prestigious shows and events with the Global team - so be sure to see her out and about! Outside of work Lyd is currently training for her first ever Marathon, Dublin 2019!
