We at the Crew Academy have a passion and drive to establish professional, high quality training within the yachting industry. We feel strong sense of responsibility and duty to bring about change and awareness to the importance of equality, safeguarding and wellbeing to all crew members.
Who are they?
The Crew Academy provides a continuous and balanced training path to equip individuals with the vital practical and management skills required throughout a yachting career. We also offer a variety of specialised training programs including wine knowledge, spirits and mixology, barista, cigars, and floristry.
The Crew Academy is a IAMI accredited training school and all our interior service courses exceed minimum requiremens set out by IAMI GUEST guidelines.
Alongside our accredited courses, we are also able to offer bespoke training packages, tailored to meet the needs of a yacht’s interior crew or even for an entire fleet.
Our training instructors come from a handpicked selection of both the industry’s most experienced individuals, as well as ambassadors of the world’s most renowned brands.

Having progressed through the ranks from 2nd Stew, Head Housekeeper to Chief Stewardess over a 11 year career and then she entered the Private Household industry for the UHNWI’s and worked up to House Manager and onto
Estate Manager over 3 years. Helen moved ashore to build a home and start a career in training and has a strong passion and desire to train, teach and mentor students from all walks of life and from different industries.
